Tragic!

I don't know what's sadder about this picture, the fact that he's in a cone, or that his toys look to be taunting him!

Chico had to go to vet yesterday after we discovered post-surgery swelling. So my day was themed around doggie-day-care.

Matt too had a rather tough day. As I had mentioned, there has been a lot of reassigning at his company, and Matt hasn't found out his new duties yet...or whether he's going to be assigned to shift work. Ugh!

He suspected he would find out yesterday when his boss indicated the managers would be having an in-house lunch. He mentally prepared, got all nervous, and showed up only to discover it was a pizza party because corporate people were visiting (which supported his suspicions, too).

As Matt put it, he's tired of the waiting game and just wants to know his new job - especially if it's shift work! :(

I tried to help by making a big batch of rice crispy treats and gave him a couple to help him feel better. He said it did. :)
