I worked from home today because I had a dentist appointment. I mentioned to my hygienist that I should have scheduled my appointment at 2:30p rather than 2p, so my appointment would be in line with that old dentist joke. My hygienist said, "What joke?" I then said, "You know, the one asking what time a dentist appointment should be made? 2:30 (tooth hurty)!"
I kid you not, she had never heard the joke before and she is my age! How could anyone in the dental profession not have been subjected to that joke like 100 times!? No wonder she laughed as if she'd heard it for the first time!
