On June 9th, Matt and I are going to Steph and Eric's wedding. Today was a day of wedding prep. I got the dress in for alteration, continued writing the toast, called our neighbor and asked her to babysit the animals, did my nails (I'm trying out different colors this week!), and researched hair styles. This Matron of Honor role is serious business!!! ;) Wouldn't want to be the bride, though!
In addition to all of that, Matt and I also managed to work half the day and drove ourselves, not once, but twice to the DMV, because we discovered that we don't have a pink slip for our trailer. We do for the boat, but not for the vessel in which to carry it. And to make matters worse, our "permanent" CA plates expired in January so we can't even use the trailer until we get this straightened out. How did this not get addressed in CA!?! We paid for our trailer's registration, so how did they know to charge us unless we were the rightful owners. It's not like they just forgot to give us a pink slip the day we turned the ownership of the boat/trailer into our names! So we are convinced that our pink slip must have been good for both vessels, but in the eyes of NC, we need proof of ownership for the trailer. AHHH!!! We are so confused.
So now we have to call the CA DMV and ask them what to do. I'm so going to delegate that task to Matt! Sheesh - we are never going to get out onto the boat! We even purchased Chico a life preserver a while back, and I'm dying to go out on the boat with him!!!
