Last Sunday we went to Carowinds, an amusement park about an hour away from us. We had so much fun! It was the perfect day to go because there were so few people there, and we were able to walk up to most rides with little to no wait. Awesome!!!
You can't tell, but that's a ride behind us. It was our first of the day and it was by far the most intense ride we rode all day. First they strapped us in, then they laid us down on our backs, and then we rode the ride backwards. We either starred at the sky or the ground depending on which way were facing. Either way...it was intense (but super fun)!
There was another ride called the Intimidator and it lived up to its name because I was too chicken to ride it.
And this is why...
The height was bad enough, but the first drop was insane! First off, look at the harness (or lack there of) in the last photo. All Matt had was a lap bar! Then on top of that the first drop was almost a 90 degree drop. Yah, no thank you! Matt reported after that it was definitly gut wrenching. Ugh!
