So recently I woke up to this...
I feel the caption of that photo should be, "Oh please, oh please, take me for a walk!"
Believe it or not - I'm still getting over being sick. I feel fine - I just have a lingering cough and the last thing I want to do is walk in the cold and trigger a huge cough attack. But I was coerced into a walk from the pitiful doggie looks I was getting, so off we went.
I thought I'd treat ourselves to an outing since it had been so long, so I took him to Old Salem. I always forget how unique it is to have a US settlement from the 1700's so close to us!
Well, I guess perhaps you should pretend that the cars are horse and buggies and then you'll appreciate the history a bit more!
When we got home, I was able to catch this picture of Chico...
Mission accomplished - a tired pooch. (In case you are wondering, Matt's family got Chico the handkerchief for Christmas. I think it's adorable, and he loves it!)
