Left Was Alright

I’m very happy to say that we made it to Bushmills alive!  Normally we aren’t so dreadful about our travels, however in this case, we rented a car and Matt drove on the left side of the road for his first time.  It was horrifying at first.  Poor Matt… (and poor passenger Kirsten!)

It was recommended that we take the coastal route, which honestly was beautiful.  The green scenery to our left and the ocean views to the right were amazing.  However, it was windy and narrow, and as I said to Matt, it was like learning to swim in the deep end.  Cars were flying out of nowhere, especially around blind corners.  Then, just when Matt got the hang of things, we discovered that it is perfectly legal for someone to park their car right in the middle of your lane.  I can’t recall how many times we be driving along when suddenly a parked car was in front of us and we had to veer into the other lane.  It was an adventure!

But then we got to our destination and this welcomed us!
