Christmas Eve

Since we don't have human children, we decided to open the furry kids' stockings and enjoy watching them play with all the gifts they got from Grandma (Matt's mom).  Normally I don't write this blog from the animals' point-of-view, but in this case, I can't help myself...

Chico got Scooby Doo themed toys and I love this first expression on Chico's face when I showed him the first toy.  It's as if he's saying, "Yah, is that it?"

But then when I squeaked it, he perked up.  I then pulled out a rope and he bounced up with excitement.

The next photo is as if he's saying, "What else do you have in there?"

"A ball!  That's pretty awesome!"

This next photo is as if Chico is saying, "Is that it!?!"

That's when he decided he needed more toys, and like a spoiled kid, he decided that all the toys were his. We gave the cats their toys, and as you'll see from the photos, Chico quickly inserted himself and said, "Hey, watcha got there... Oh, that's mine!"

And no Christmas is complete (at least in this household) without a cat trying to eat ribbon.
