This past weekend Matt and I had three holiday celebrations. On Friday we went to our annual neighborhood party. The house we went to this year was beautiful! The wife is an amazing designer and she went all out with her Christmas decorations. After dinner we did a white elephant gift exchange and I ended up with the ongoing neighborhood gag gift - a huge palm tree shaped tupperware. Now I have to hold on to it until next year. Matt got a cool Mediterranean cookbook, so I guess when I cook all that food, I have somewhere to store it! ;-) We had a great time catching up with everyone.
The next day we went to Matt's work party at the convention center downtown. Since our friend Bradley now also works with Matt, we were able to double date with Kelsie as well. That added a new dimension of fun. There was a silly photo booth to which we got some very silly photos. I'll post those when we get them.
Then this evening we went to M&D&G's house for family time and to partake in our annual appetizer dinner while watching Christmas movies. We always start with A Christmas Story and follow it up with The Grinch That Stole Christmas. As always we had a great time! :-)
