Superbowl Sunday

Matt and I went to Kelsie and Bradley's for the Superbowl.  They invited some other friends that we hadn't met before, and despite the Panthers losing, we all still had a nice time hanging out.  :-)

The new couple brought over a very unusual game for half-time.   It was called Bean Boozled.  The object of the game is to eat Jelly Bellies... sounds good right?  Yah, until you find out that you may have to eat one with a less than desirable flavor, such as skunk spray, moldy cheese, or even barf.  You may now be asking yourself, why on earth would anyone play that?  You got me, but we played it anyways.

To determine what flavor you got, you spin a wheel and it will land on a colored jelly belly.  Depending on which one it lands on (let's say it's a green jelly belly) that flavor could be lime or lawn clippings.  You then reach down into the jelly bellies, pick out a green one and hope that you picked lime.  If not, then you're eating a jelly belly that tastes like grass.

The game was both fun and revolting, a combination that I don't normally recommend to people!  But I did take reaction photos that I thought I'd share. :-)

Here's the group blissfully happy before we began.

Here's Matt after eating barf flavored...

And Kelsie after eating Stinky Socks...

And poor Bradley and I got Skunk Spray... here's his reaction.

I unfortunately also had to eat canned dog food and moldy cheese.  They were all so authentic  (at least it's what I would imagine them to taste like).  Thankfully everyone got tired of the game pretty quickly so we went back to enjoying the half-time show!
