1st Weekend In NC!

Our first weekend is now under our belt and I think we've made a lot of head way. The bathrooms and kitchen are unpacked - hooray! Those rooms, I think we would all agree, are the two most important areas to feel at home. Matt met some neighbors while decorating for Christmas outside (you can now see his priority!) and let me tell you this, did we pick the right neighborhood!!! Not only is everyone is really nice, but we also live on the same street as the mayor! While getting the scoop, Matt played it of nonchalantly, but inside he was like, "What!?  Are you serious!?" :)

The president of our HOA brought us over a huge basket of homemade fresh bread and other great goodies. Wasn't that so nice!?  I love Southern hospitality!  Look at it, it's massive!

On Saturday, the movers came and everything went smoothly. Nothing broken so far, so that's huge! However, something unusual did happen while the movers were here - it snowed! That definitely put us into a White Christmas mode...but I felt so sorry for the moving guys!

During and after the move, we have been unpacking fools! As you can, we have helpers to unpack! Wait, are they helping or getting in the way!?

 

But, we've still got a lot to do!!!
