Last night, Matt's boss hosted poker at his house and Matt was invited to play. We both went to their house so Matt could play poker with the guys, while I hang out with Katy. However, unbeknown to us until we got there, the poker group was a bit shy of players so Katy and I were asked to play.
We stated with dinner - Katy put on a great spread of homemade sloppy joes, snacks and cookies! Quite the cook she is! Then we played poker - Texas Hold'em.
There were 6 of us and I really liked the group we played with. Of course there were us two couples a co-worker of Matt's (Kenton) and his brother (Chris). Poor Katy, she ran out of chips first. Then (my) Matt and Chris fell out afterwards. It was then down to (boss) Matt, me and Kenton. Matt dropped out after going all in against me and I won the hand. Then it was down to me and Kenton.
Luck be a lady last night, because I cleaned him out! Yeehaw, as they'd say in Texas! :)
