I was shocked to see that I hadn't done a post since Wednesday, but in hindsight, I guess that makes sense. I was at SciWorks on Thursday and Friday I ran errands. Come evening time, I was too lazy to get on the computer. Sorry!
There also hasn't been much to report on from our end. Volunteering is going well for me. Matt's been on normal hours, which is great for him. Mom and Dad are on vacation this week visiting Chicago, New York and Michigan. The intent of the vacation was to go to Mom's high school reunion and I've chatted with them each day to see how the trip has been. It's nice to be on the same time zone again! I figured since so many of my readers know M&D, I might as well report on their trip since many of their activities relates to my readers!
Their first stop was to Wheaton, IL. They saw our old home and visited Cantigny Park, a park across the street that has huge tanks I used to play on as a kid. Apparently Wheaton has changed a lot, especially downtown. They were sad (but not surprised) to see all our old hangouts had changed to different businesses. That's what 20 years will do to a town!
