Picture This!

OK, I got my purse back from the "purse-snatcher" and I have my camera!

As I mentioned on the last post, we visited two wineries over the weekend. We re-visited RayLen since the couple hadn't been before...

Shelton Vineyards was our second winery. Their prices were AMAZING! For $5/pp, it includes a generous tasting (don't forget about the sangria, too!), a take home glass, and a tour! Even better, I had two-for-one coupons, so each couple paid only $5!!! I'm telling you all, it's worth it to visit us!

This is an actual vine to show the root structure. We learned that some roots can grow up to 20' long!

The wine tour was both inside and outside. There was a massive storm rolling through at the time, but thankfully our outside portion of the tour was covered.

The inside of a grape press - I thought this was an interesting vantage point.

This room is filled with adopted barrels. For $600, you can adopt a barrel and for the next 6 years you can get a free case of wine. After 6 years, the barrel is then given to that person so he/she can continue making wine on their own. I'm telling you - crazy prices if you like wine! Geez, you'd think I work there!

After the storm cleared, we walked the grounds...
