Matt left on Sunday for a week-long training at corporate. I was encouraged to come, but we had just come back from visiting family and I thought it'd be neglectful to my life here. Whereas I don't work, I'm always amazed how chores pile up around here! So, it's just me and myself around here.
Matt's been enjoying his time back where we lived. The training is for a role he has been assigned to outside of his regular job responsibilities. I'm not sure if any of you recall, but a few months ago, Matt did a similar training for the new software conversion the company would undergo. However, they experienced problems and pushed off the company-wide release until the end of the year. Well, now Matt's back for more training.
Thankfully, this training also brought back a few friends, so he's been having dinner with them. Matt and Steph have also been out to dinner. Sigh! But that also makes me happy that the two of them hang out regardless if I'm there. :)
