A Friend From CA!

Our friend Jeremy (from CA) is visiting us this weekend! He has a business trip in Washington DC and was nice enough fly out of his way to see us and will then drive to DC!

We are showing him the sights today. He wants to experience "everything southern," specifically to this area!

This morning we had breakfast at the very first Krispy Kream...did you all know that the original one is from Winston-Salem?

We just left Old Salem, which has become an official staple when giving tours of this area. All of our guests seem to love the old history of the town.

We just arrived at Foothills Brewery, to which we were told we had to wait on putting in our beer order until 1pm! Moments like that remind me that we live in the Bible Belt.

After lunch we are going to hit the sights further by doing...well, who know's what. Today, we are being fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants kind of people!
