Well, I wish I had more information for you all but unfortunately I'm still a little confused about what I'll be doing at SciWorks. I do know that I'll be in charge of the social media marketing - ie, maintaining Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube - basically any marketing online.
As for print media, that will be handled by someone else...not that it means that I won't have input. I'll also be working with the media for PSA's, press releases, etc. That'll be fun since that's dipping into my old line of work. :)
I'll also be planning some, but not all, events. This is where things get a little fuzzy. I've been told I'll be collaborating for each event until we get a better handle as to which events I'll be handling vs. those handled by other departments.
I guess we'll all stayed tuned!
