At The Game

I'm at the Wake Forest/Army game right now with Matt and our Deac friends, Doris and Wayne.

I suspect this is going to be a high score game because we are still in the first quarter and the score is 13-13.

Amazingly, for a couple that spent this past week together, in the same house, we sure had opposite experiences this week.

Matt had a low-key week. Well, that is, comparatively to his regular schedule. He was home relatively early and stayed busy at home cleaning, cooking and caring for the pets.

I had a crazy week. Even busier than Dinos (didn't think that was possible). I came home late almost every night, and when I was home, I managed to ignore every household chore.

Jokingly Matt said he was the "wife" this week. Not because the domestic chores are mine because I'm a woman, but because I'm usually the one who has more time to manage those things.

But after this week of role-reversals, I'm surprised I'm not outside mowing the lawn and drinking beer right now! But let's face it, if Matt was really me this week, then shouldn't he be writing this blog!?! Naaaaahhh!
