Last week we went to the fair! I always enjoy the fair - the festivities, the lights, and of course the food! I was a bit nervous because I wanted to treat myself to fair food, but it was my first time going since discovering my dietary issues. Knowing Asian food could be a culprit, I steered clear of anything like that. But I did have to have my annual tradition Krispy Kream Burger! So yummy!
Coincidentally my boss and her daughter were at the fair that day, so we met up and watched her daughter go on a few rides. She's up there somewhere...

Eventually we went our separate ways so we could watch the Swifty Swine Pig Races! We went last year and it's so fun to watch the little pigs race around the track. The winning pig's prize is... an Oreo cookie! Heck, I'd race around a track for that! ;-)
The audience had to participate, too. The pigs couldn't start the race until we all said, "Sooo-eee!"
The pigs names were quite entertaining. They were all named after celebrities. We had Brad Pig, Shaquille O'Squeal, Jennifer Lopigs, Sarah Jessica Porker, and Kevin Bacon (didn't have to change that one!)
Ah yes, only at the fair. Gotta love the fair!
