Whereas we didn't do much this weekend, it turned out to be great. On Saturday, Matt and I hung out with Grandpa for the majority of the day. Mom and Dad were traveling home from Florida, and since we were going to hang out at home anyway, we thought it would be more fun to hang out at Grandpa's home. We brought over lunch, watched movies, and chatted until M&D arrived home. Thanks for a fun day, Grandpa!
On Super Bowl Sunday, we decided to watch the game by ourselves. Whereas it was nice to be invited to a couple parties, we are finding it's more difficult to enjoy them because the game starts so late. Instead we went grocery shopping and made ourselves some appetizers for the game.
Melted pimento cheese, in phyllo cups and topped with a pepper relish.
And a hodgepodge of other appetizers. Yummy!
Earlier in the day, I was working at our desk, and I thought I'd show you a photo I took of two BFFs (Brothers & Furry Friends). They both decided to sun themselves, and I guess they thought that cuddling would help keep them warm. So sweet!!!
