Today is our friends' Sarah and Del's wedding day! Their wedding is the reason we came to CA and we are very excited to see it all come together. It's at their house - more specifically in the backyard.
We arrived to Sacramento on Wednesday night and after checking into the hotel, Matt dropped me off to join Sarah and her family/friends for a casual trivia-night bachelorette party. It was really fun because between trivia questions we got to catch up with each other. We even got 2nd place, so that was exciting!!!
Then yesterday Sarah and many of us ladies got mani/pedis. I upgraded and got a fun flower painted on each big toe. I'm so glad I did because I think they turned out great.
We then went to Sarah/Del's house for the first time and got the house tour. Their house is so warm and welcoming and has a great layout for the wedding. They've owned the house for less than a year so I'm pretty impressed that they are already having a wedding there! It took me over 6 months just to get it ready for people to visit!!!
After the rehearsal we went to the rehearsal dinner - which was fantastic. Sarah's family/friends are so welcoming and friendly that you feel like you've known everyone for years. The restaurant (called Dad's Kitchen) is a local favorite that we'd not heard of, but now I see why everyone loves it. We were immediately bombaeded with appetizers and then had a great selection for dinner. Here's a pic of the soon-to-be married couple.
