Start Your Engines!

Paul and I have been having so much fun this week I forgot all about the blog! Poor Matt, he's been stuck working so I've had the "hard task" of vacationing with Paul.

Today we decided to go to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and it was totally awesome! It had fun exhibits and was interactive for all ages. The museum started with a cylinder pathway leading up to the 2nd of 4 floors. On the way to the 2nd floor, different NASCAR cars were on display. In addition, the car display was inclined to showcase the different degrees cars endure on the race track. The degrees started at 0 and went up to 33 degrees. We had the opportunity to stand at the 14 degree and 33 degree angle and it was quite steep!

This angle is at 0 degrees -

This was at 14 degrees -

And 33 degrees!

Dale Earnhardt is Paul's favorite driver and this was the only place he could get a photo with him... oh well, we tried!

This is a driver seat - I don't think my sitting style is regulation.

This car is famous to all the Pixar fans out there - this is the Hudson Hornet and you may recognize him from the movie Cars. :)

After touring all 4 floors we headed home. We coincidentally got home at the same time as Matt and grilled BBQ chicken for dinner. It was a really fun week with Paul - it'll be quite not having a daytime buddy to hang out with!
