Goodbye Chico

Sadly, my Chico portion of my CA trip came to an end, but I didn't leave without another visit with family & friends.

I once again started the morning chatting away with Mary. After getting ready, she liked my outfit so much, she asked to take a picture of me. Thank you for the compliment, Mary!

I met up with Jen at my old hang out, a coffee shop converted from a train car. 

We then met up for lunch with her husband, Jeremy, so I could have my favorite Chico hamburger - the Jiffy Burger! Imagine a regular cheeseburger with all the fixins'...lettuce, tomato, thousand island, pickles.  Now, add Jiffy peanutbutter and there you have it - a Jiffy Burger. My first time having this burger was for a dare, and I ended up loving it. Now I can't go to Chico without having one! I know it sounds disgusting, but all I have to say is, don't knock it until you try it (with the exception of my veggie peeps!)

Sadly it was time to go and I drove back to Auburn.  I'm now sitting on Mom & Dad's porch and this is my "office view." Life's rough, isn't it???

Thanks to all my Chico family and friends! I miss you already!
