Be A Sport!

We had a wonderful weekend of fun and frivolity!  It was also a sports-themed weekend.

But to start in chronological order, we started our Saturday going to a nearby pancake breakfast. I say nearby quite literally, because the hosting community center is practically in our back yard!  We shared a table with a very nice family around our age and chatted away throughout breakfast.

Afterwards, Matt and I went to Wake Forest's Spring game. Since we are season ticket holders, we thought we'd check out the team to see how they'll measure up this year!  :) The game was delayed to weather, but afterwards we picked out some great seats and enjoyed the scrimmage immensely.  I'm so happy we bought the future game tickets!

This shot was intentionally so you can see that even when on Wake Forest's home turf, Matt will forever be a Cornhusker fan! 

On Sunday we went to our city's minor leage baseball team called, The Dash!  I learned their team is named that because of the dash between Winston and Salem. Clever! We had a lot of fun, especially since we sat right above the home dugout.

Then, if that wasn't enough fun, we got some pizza and brought it over to Matt and Katie's house to meet Lily, who was exactly 1 week old. She is sooooooo....cute and quite!  :)  I didn't get pictures that night, so you'll have to take my word for it!  :)
