Whereas Matt went to KY to work, he certainly came home with tons of stories of all the fun he had! Since he was working at Jim Beam he decided to take a tour of the distillery. Apparently it was a really good tour (and even better) had a really good gift shop! Matt was "sweet" enough to buy me bourbon chocolates and mint julep mix.
Each night he went to downtown Louisville for dinner. Apparently the downtown was really cool - tons of restaurants and shopping. He said the town was lit up at night and it reminded him of a smaller Vegas.
Finally, he was able to make time to tour Churchill Downs (where the Kentucky Derby takes place) and see the Hall of Fame. I'm so jealous of his trip!!!
I stayed busy myself this past week (hence the lack of blogging). We have been getting ready to go to OH and I had lot of things to catch up on. Mostly boring stuff to report - desk work, errands, laundry, house cleaning - fun!
