We both made it safe and sound to Ohio. We took separate flights due to the timing of our flight purchases and let's just say we had very different experiences! Matt breezed through security and had a direct flight with no issues. I, on the other hand, had to wait 1/2 hour in secuity, had my bag searched and missed my connecting flight in Philadelphia because my first flight was delayed because of mechanical difficulties! Thankfully, I made it out on the next flight and we reconvenied in Detroit.
We fell into our old routine immediately. We had money to deposit and since our bank doesn't have branches in OH, we took our regular detour to the MI bank. We then checked into the hotel and beelined to Steph's. Our other ex-neighbors, James and Greg, were at Steph's and we all hung out for dinner and board games. Ahhh, it was like we never left!
