Tee-hee! Fooled you, didn't I? Thought we took on another furry creature. ;-)
We've been saving up for this bad-boy for a while and are quite excited to have upgraded our camera! We are extra-excited because we also own a 1970's Nikon camera with many telephoto lens that works with this camera. That means we'll save hundreds, if not thousands, if we ever want other lenses in the future! Big reason we went with Nikon!!!
We also saw the latest Batman movie today - finally!!! Not gonna say what I thought, not gonna give any clues, not gonna say nothing! I don't want to spoil any moment for any reader that hasn't seen it yet.
Matt also came back today from an extended weekend trip to Atlanta. I wasn't feeling well Saturday morning to join him for the trip, so he went on his own and visited a couple of friends. They mostly hung out and talked about man-stuff...whatever that is!?! Sunday they went to the Coke factory and took the tour. Matt came home with a gift - a recipe book that incorporates Coke products. You may giggle, but he was inspired to get it because of an actual recipe I learned last week.
Soda Cake:
Mix 1 box cake mix (any kind) with 1 can soda (any kind). Bake at temp/time according to box instructions. That's it, you are done. No eggs, flour, oil or measuring. No heath elements either...but if you are in a pinch and need a dessert quick, it's tasty and easy! Go figure!
