Chris came to visit for a whole other reason...the annual beer fest. Matt attended last year and asked Chris if he'd like to go. They had a blast and thankfully Matt has a super awesome wife that agreed to be the designated driver.

Happy Birthday, Krispy Kream!
This past weekend was quite busy. We had our friend Chris up for a visit, and he couldn't have come on a better weekend. Both Friday night and Saturday, Krispy Kream had their 75th birthday celebration...did you know that Krispy Kream originated in Winston-Salem? To celebrate, they gave away unlimited donuts to everyone! Well, needless to say, that's like heave on earth to me! Only thing that takes a close 2nd place to cupcakes, are donuts...well, and maybe brownies...and cake...oh well, you know what I mean!
