Well, we made it.
After moving Grandpa out of his apartment of 2.5 years, transporting us all to the train station, and waiting out a 3 hour delay, we boarded the train have been on our way to NC...slowly...but making our way.
It's been a beautiful trip - we really do have an awesome country. I knew that from our cross-country car trips, but the train allows someone to see our country from a different vantage point.
