I'm SOOOO excited to have my cousin, Kara, and her two daughters Abby and Lizzy visiting us for the next week! Once they got here, we took care of the essentials. We unpacked, we grocery shopped, we got ice cream! ;-)
Since they had just traveled that morning, we wanted the rest of the day to be relaxing. We made dinner at home and hung out. Thankfully I've recently acquired all my childhood toys from Mom and Dad's recent move, so I have plenty of books and a few toys for the girls.
Later that evening, I discovered a hidden talent Kara has ... she makes her own socks! Amazing! When I think about it, I'm actually not surprised. She makes most of her food from scratch and she sews cute clothes for the girls. But when I found out she can make her own socks, too, well...that just knocked my socks off! Ha, ha!
