To my surprise and delight, SciWorks had 20+ interns come in yesterday to assist with tons of outdoor projects! I was asked to manage over the gardens and it was quite lovely to have helpers!!!
As for Matt, his life has been flipped upside-down! His boss took another job to move closer to family, so Matt is shadowing him for the next two weeks to learn his job. It's not implied that Matt will be promoted to Quality Manager, but he's hoping he'll be asked! :) He also doesn't know how this will affect his Kaizen role. He likes it and he won't be able to do both if promoted. So I suspect he's perplexed. We shall wait and see how this all pans out!
