M&D are in town!!! It's so nice having them here! Yesterday I drove to Charlotte to pick them up and we instantly did what we do best - eat! :)
Dad found a great restaurant online called Dish and it was an excellent representation of Southern food.
Along with our meals, we went all out and got fried green tomatoes and fried mashed potatoes - YUM-O!!! Suffice it to say, we all take credit for pigging out on those dishes!
Next we drove to Asheville, the wonderful town Matt I and had visited a couple months back. We walked around downtown, shopping, strolling and had a wonderful dinner outside. Poor M&D, they had to come to NC to enjoy "CA-like" weather!
We are staying two nights in Asheville because there is so much to do. The hotel has a pretty view of the Blue Ridge Mountains so photos ops were beckoning us!
