As if our house wasn't big enough! Slowly but surely, we are finishing the downstairs porch area. It's nice to have a covered porch because we can keep things out that we would otherwise have to store for weather (such as cushions and candles). It's got a sunken feel to it, so it's also nice to feel surrounded by trees, plants, etc.
Eventually, we'd like to furnish it with a rug and two stained glass windows that Matt's mom gave us. I guess that that will be our phase 2 of the project seeing that we ran out of sunlight and weekend! I didn't take a picture during daylight, so I'll have to post one tomorrow. :)
